The
Mayor, City Council, Staff and Residents welcome the participants of
the triathlons and their families back to the city of Daytona Beach
Shores for the 2010 season.
This city supports the active life style associated with triathletes
and has pledged to help in every way possible to make these events a
success. ****************************************** HELMETS ARE REQUIRED AT ALL TIGERSHARK EVENTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH USAT RULES. ****************************************** All events start at 7a.m. Registration will open on site at 6 a.m. RICE & ROSE SPRINT TRIATHLON #1 400 yd. swim/8 mile road bike/3 mile beach run RICE & ROSE SPRINT TRIATHLON #2 600 yd. swim/12 mile road bike/3 mile beach run RICE & ROSE SPRINT TRIATHLON #3 800 yd. swim/15 mile road bike/ 4 mile beach run PROOF OF USAT MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED FOR ALL TIGERSHARK TRIATHLONS, INCLUDING EACH RELAY TEAM MEMBER. RACE FEES: unchanged from 2008 & 2009 season. $50 individual/$75 relay for each race up to 3 days before the event. $55 individual/$90 relay for each race for late registration. $60 individual/$100 relay on day of race. Shirts are only guaranteed if you are pre-registered. USAT membership forms will be available on packet pickup day and race day on site. Membership is $39.00 a year for adult//$5.00 a year under 18 with the signature of a parent/guardian//$10.00 for one day event for adults. USAT forms completed on site for one year membership can be paid by credit card. Race day membership can only be paid by cash or check made payable to USAT for $10.00. USAT Rules require each competitor show photo ID at packet pickup or day of race registration, and proof of USAT membership, or you will not be allowed to participate. Competitors under 18 must have parent or guardian signature on USAT waiver form. Credit cards are not accepted unless you register online. Register for: June event..pending.
